The brand, which started producing reusable cloth masks earlier this year along with UV phone sanitizers as a response to Covid-19, brings back classic Pokemon characters from the '90s and will call the new range its Past, Present and Future collection. Like last year, Casetify will offer the collection in three rounds or "drops".
Casetify first released its Pokemon accessories last year in collaboration with The Pokemon Company, as a part of a three-part 'Pokedex' series. Its May 2019 release and sold out within 72 hours after garnering an impressive 50,000-member wait list.
The new cases, priced at £30, are available for iPhone 7 and Plus models, up to the new iPhone SE 2020. See the full collection at Casetify.
Last year, the Pokemon designs were available on iPhone, MacBook, iPad and AirPod cases, as well as Samsung phones.
"Fans will be excited to not only see the limited-edition designs and sold-out accessories coming to new device sizes, but also shop the Pokédex collection and choose from 151 different ways to express themselves,” said Wes Ng, CEO and co-founder of Casetify last year.
Prices ranged from £20/US$25 and up, slightly cheaper than this years collection.
Casetify x Pokemon cases and accessories from the first drop in May
The "151 ways" refers to the number of Pokémon from the Kanto region (keeping with the Pokemon universe), that customers can choose from for their cases. Customers can personalize existing Casetify case styles like the Impact, Neon Sand or DTLA with favourite Pokemon characters as well.
