The Oculus Quest 2 has £20 off from GAME in the biggest discount we've seen so far this year.
The £20 reduction applies to both the 64GB and 256GB variants, dropping prices to £279.99 and £379.99 respectively. Given the popularity of the VR headset from Facebook, and the lack of discounts in past months, we don't expect stocks to last long.
The Quest 2 is a powerful all-in-one system that works wirelessly and also connects to the PC via the Oculus Link cable, making it one of the most versatile VR headsets around. At prices below £500, it's also significantly more affordable than competing headsets from HTC and Valve, which near £1000.
The Quest 2 launched in October 2020 at £100 less than the original Quest, while also improving various design and performance features.
With the Quest 2, users can expect a lighter, more comfortable headset with a higher resolution display, with nearly 2K per eye. The Quest 2 boosts refresh rates to 90Hz, up from 60Hz. See our full review of the Quest 2, where it received a full 5/5 stars and a Tech Advisor Recommended badge
Last October, John Lewis had a similar £20 discount on Quest 2 pre-orders for My John Lewis members, only to be outdone by early Black Friday deals from Argos and Currys PC World outlets on eBay that slashed £32 off the 256GB option, and £24 off the 64GB option.
Right now, GAME's prices for the Quest 2 are the most competitive, with John Lewis, Amazon, Argos and Currys PC World all maintaining list prices (see below). Head to GAME to save £20 on the Quest 2 right now.
