Steam Sales are among the highlights of the gaming calendar, as the world's biggest PC game store slashes prices across the board for up to two weeks.
The Autumn Sale is live now for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and so the next Steam Sale is expected to be the Winter Sale, which usually runs over Christmas and New Year's.
There are usually six Steam Sales each year: Lunar New Year, Spring, Summer, Halloween, Autumn (for Black Friday), and Winter (for Christmas). They're fairly predictable, but exact dates are only revealed at short notice, which keeps us on our toes.
Steam Autumn sale dates
The Steam Autumn Sale is live now, but be quick, it only lasts for a few days.
This year Black Friday falls on 27 November, and the sale runs until 10am PST/6pm GMT on 1 December.

When is the next Steam Sale?
After the Autumn Sale, next up is the Winter Sale, which takes place in December to tie in with the Christmas period.
It's likely to start in mid-December and run for two weeks, likely ending some time around New Year's Eve.
Then it's only a month or two to wait until the next sale, the Lunar New Year sale, which is likely to take place in February 2021.
