Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has exploded in popularity since its release on 4 August 2020. However, this cute and colourful (and on occasion insanely frustrating) take on battle royale is currently only available to purchase on PS4 and Steam on PC.

If you’re an Xbox or Nintendo user, this news comes as a bit of a blow. So to help, we’ve done some research to find out when - and if - the game will come to other platforms sometime in the future.

In the meantime, you can check out our list of the best upcoming games of 2021, and read more about the new consoles in our roundups of the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Is Fall Guys coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox?

Fall Guys is on the way to the Nintendo Switch and to both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, as confirmed first in a Nintendo Direct and then later on the Xbox Twitter account.

Unfortunately, while it was initially announced that both ports would arrive in summer 2021, both versions have now been delayed. They're still on the way, however, Mediatonic has confirmed that they won't arrive until 2022

There is a silver lining at least - the devs confirmed that part of the reason for the delay is to make sure that when the new ports launch they support crossplay, so that you'll be able to tumble with friends playing on any platform.

Will Fall Guys come to PS5?

Fall Guys doesn't officially have a dedicated PS5 version, but since it's available on PS4 it can be played on the newer Sony console using backwards compatibility.

There's no word yet on whether a 'proper' PlayStation 5 port of the game will launch in the future that's optimised for the more powerful hardware - surely Big Yeetus won't be complete until he supports ray tracing, after all.
