It's the cheapest price we've seen yet for Google's smart speaker, the Home Mini – which is now £29.99. The Home Mini usually sells for £49.99, and prices hardly ever go below £34.99 when there is a discount, which makes this deal especally attractive.
You can pick it up the Home Mini from Google itself or from other major retailers, including Currys PC World, John Lewis, Argos, and Very.co.uk. Look out for bundle offers too on this deal when you buy from other retailers, which you may not be able to get if you buy direct from Google.
The deal includes a free trial of YouTube Music Premium from Google, which lasts until 8 April, 2019 and must be redeemed by 25 March 2019 (typically, the trial lasts for 14 days). Surprisingly, not all retailers are promoting this tie-in offer, except Currys and John Lewis – so keep and eye out for this too.
Even without the discount, the Home Mini is the cheapest smart speaker in Google's range of smart home devices, making it the ideal entry-level option for anyone looking to convert their home a smart home. You can read our full review of the Home Mini here – we gave it 4 stars out of 5.
The £20 discount comes in competition against the sharp price drop Amazon's offering on its Echo Dot 3, which is now £24.99, and the Echo 2 which is now £19.99. See our comparison of the Echo to the Home Mini if you want to find out which device best suits your needs.
