It’s been a few years since we have seen a standalone Batman film, and so anticipation has been building for Matt Reeves’s take on the Caped Crusader. Robert Pattinson will star as Bruce Wayne and he will be joined by the likes of Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
The Batman is one of the most anticipated films of 2022, and as such we expect tickets to be in high demand. If you want to know when they go on sale, and where to buy them from, then we have everything you need to know.
When do The Batman tickets go on sale?
Currently, no sale date has been set for The Batman tickets.
As things stand, The Batman is due to release in cinemas on 4 March 2022. Typically, tickets for Warner Bros. films (such as The Matrix Resurrections) have gone on sale around two weeks before the release date.
Therefore, we expect that tickets for The Batman will release around mid-February.
We recommend turning on notifications for The Batman on Twitter and signing up for emails/turning on alerts for your local cinema chain. You can also bookmark this page, as we’ll be updating information about the release date as soon as we have it.
It’s worth noting that films such as Morbius have been delayed due to the surge of Omicron, so there is a chance that The Batman could also be delayed.

Will The Batman release on HBO Max and other streaming services?
Whilst The Batman will eventually release for streaming, it won’t be at the same time it releases in cinemas.
New Warner Bros. films in 2022 will arrive on HBO Max 46 days after the initial theatrical release, which means that The Batman will hit the platform on 19 April 2022.
You can sign up for HBO Max on the website, with prices starting from $9.99 per month.
In the UK, the streaming release hasn’t yet been confirmed – but it could come to the Sky-owned platform Now around a similar time.
DVD and Blu-ray copies of The Batman are likely to arrive a few months after the film hits cinemas.
