You can pick up three whole months for 99p, which provides – you guessed it – unlimited, cross-device, access to heaps of content for kids. Choose from books and Audible audiobooks, educational apps and games to keep you child entertained for hours. It's also a destination for kids' movies and shows, with content from the BBC, Nickelodeon and Disney. The trial is typically one month long and costs £1.99 to start.

The offer ends 15 April. Those who already have Fire for Kids Unlimited on a monthly plan are eligible for the 3-month promotion too, though those with a 1-year pre-paid plan are not. You can see the full terms over at Amazon.

Fire Unlimited for Kids does have some limits though, if you're worried about safety or overindulgence. The service includes parental controls so adults can moderate what and how much content his or her child consumes, while balancing educational materials with entertainment. Parents can set time limits, age filters and create personalized profiles for up to four children on the family plan.

The service also blocks social media access and prevents children from making in-app purchases without parental approval.

The promotion comes, conveniently, at the same time as Amazon's discount on the Fire 7 Kids Edition tablet which has £35 off the £99.99 RRP. Keep in mind, if you buy the tablet separately, you do get a year of Fire Unlimited for Kids, but you won't be eligible for the 3-month family plan offer.

The Kids Edition tablet promises a 7 hour battery life and 16GB of storage – and built specifically with children in mind, the tablet includes a 2-year guarantee that promises replacement if the device is to break.

Despite Amazon's current prioritization of delivering essential items, the Fire 7 Kids Edition is still eligible for 2-hour delivery via Prime Now.

Keep in mind that the Fire 7 tablet (16GB), which sits in the top spot in our round up of the best kids' tablet, now has £15 off too, reducing the price to a palatable £34.99 from £49.99. For a larger screen, there's also £35 off the Fire HD 8 on both the 16GB and 32GB storage options.
