Dell is just one of companies making the trek to Las Vegas for CES as the world's biggest tech trade show returns to an in-person event in 2022.

The company is known for its high-end laptops and monitors, but its reputation for gaming-specific hardware is growing all the time too, thanks in large part to its sub-brand Alienware.

But will Dell hold a press conference or keynote at CES to announce its products that you can watch live?

Is there a Dell CES 2022 press conference?

CES 2022 takes place from 5 to 8 January, though there are early press conferences taking place on 3 and 4 January.

Surprisingly, at the time of writing Dell isn't included in that list. We're not sure if the company will hold a press conference that it's yet to announce, or if instead it plans to simply announce its new products without a scheduled event.

What to expect from Dell at CES 2022

Dell has already made some exciting announcements ahead of its appearance at CES.

Concept Luna is a vision for how laptops could be in the future, with an emphasis on sustainable materials and easy repairability. It's been joined by other concept products including a wireless, magnetic webcam and other hybrid-work tech ideas.

None of those are available to buy though, so we're still waiting to find out about Dell's actual upcoming products.

We don't really know what to expect for sure, but can make some safe bets. It's pretty typical for Dell to use the show to update its XPS laptop line-up, especially the most popular XPS 13 model, so we think we'll see a 2022 entry there.

Gaming brand Alienware also almost always has a major CES presence. We'll likely see laptops refreshed with the latest Nvidia, Intel, and AMD chips announced at the event, and perhaps even updated desktops too.

Otherwise, expect a range of new peripherals from both Dell and Alienware - monitors, headphones, mice and the like - and maybe updated Latitude business laptops.
