Just like Nintendo Directs or Inside Xbox, the PlayStation State of Play videos are one of the ways Sony updates fans with new game reveals, details, and more, so they’re essential viewing for anyone who wants to keep up with what’s coming next for PlayStation.

When is the next State of Play?

The next State of Play takes place today, Thursday 8 July at the following times:

  • 10pm BST (UK time)
  • 2pm PT (West Coast US time)
  • 5pm ET (East Coast US time)
  • 11pm CET (Central Europe time)

Sony has said that that the segment will last for around 30 minutes in total.

What to expect from the next State of Play

The stream will focus on Deathloop, an upcoming action action-adventure game from Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks that is due to release in September.

The event will feature a look at the gameplay, following the character Colt in Blackreef Island. There will be different play styles showcased, including a stealthy playthrough and an all guns blazing type of playthrough.

But that's not all - Sony has confirmed that there will also be updates and news on indie and third-party titles.
