It might be a little later than usual but The Brit Awards is back for 2021 and will even have a limited live audience without masks or social distancing. Here's everything you need to know including date, time, TV channel, performers and nominees.

As usual, some of the awards have already been confirmed so Griff has won the Rising Star award while Taylor Swift is the first female artist to be given the Brit's highest accolade - the Global Icon award - previously received by Elton John (2014), David Bowie (2016), and Robbie Williams (2017).

When are the Brit Awards 2021?

The Brit Awards for 2020 will take place 11 May 2021 at 8pm GMT at The O2 in London. 

Which channel is the Brit Awards 2021 on?

In the UK, the Brit Awards will be shown on ITV One, and coverage will last for two hours and 15 minutes. You can also get backstage coverage from 7pm GMT on ITV Two with interviews with performers, nominees and guest presenters.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that any international channels will be airing the show. However, if you're not in the UK and still want to tune in, there is a way. 

How to watch the Brit Awards 2021 online

The easiest way to watch the Brits online is via the official YouTube live stream, which starts at 8pm.

Another way to watch is via the ITV catchup service. If you're in the UK, then watching ITV One online via various devices is pretty easy. Just use the ITV Hub.

Comedian Jack Whitehall is back for a fourth year running - and it's no surprise considering that viewers have dubbed him a favourite, with some hilarious jokes and one-liners. Meanwhile, backstage coverage will be hosted by Clara Amfo and Maya Jama.
