Another slick official LG case for the G5 is this inexpensive snap-on case that protects the back of the device. It has a UV coating for extra durability but does leave the screen exposed.

As well as protection it also gives the sometimes slippery handset extra grip but it lightweight enough to barely notice in the hand or in your pocket.

You can also set it horizontally to view videos; perfect for when your train stops just outside the station for ages and you want to catch the end of Bake Off.
