The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is available now. There are two models again this year, with the 6.7in regular joined by a 6.9in Ultra variant.

Both are undoubtedly premium phones, featuring the latest Snapdragon chipset, gorgeous HD screens and powerful cameras. They also come with a built-in S-Pen stylus, the defining feature of the Note series.

Samsung has coined the term 'glasstic' to describe the back of the regular Note 20, while the Ultra sticks with an all-glass design. Nonetheless, with the cheapest Note 20 configuration costing £849, these are expensive handsets that you'll want to protect.

Here are the best cases that you can buy across both models.

Official Samsung Kvadrat

Samsung has a huge range of cases available for the Note 20 series, but this one stood out.

Kvadrat is a celebrated global textile company, and its case has a unique patterned design made from eco-friendly material. It's perfect for protecting the phone from everyday bumps and scrapes, and its simple look and feel allows the design of the phone to shine.

You can buy it directly from Samsung, costing £29 for both models. It's not currently available in the US.

If you don't want to go for an official case, you can't go wrong with the Otterbox Symmetry.

It provides great protection against drops, bumps and fumbles, all while adding very little bulk to your device. Raised edges also mean the screen isn't left exposed, too.

You can buy it now from Amazon for £22.98/US$44.95, while it's also available for the Note 20 Ultra (£29.05/US$29.95)

Spigen Slim Armor for Note 20

Providing military-grade drop protection within an extremely slim build, it offers the best of both worlds for many people. The built-in kickstand is an added bonus, enabling hands-free viewing.

You can buy it now for £17.99/US$39.99. It's available at for the Note 20 Ultra at the same price (£17.99/US$39.99), although is currently sold out in the UK.

Olixar's Soft Silicone case has been custom moulded for the Note 20 to provide excellent damage protection and a slimline fit.

There's also a raised bezel to keep the screen intact, while it adds plenty of grip to what can otherwise be a slippery phone.

You can buy it now from Mobile Fun for £9.99/US$10.99. It's available for the Ultra for the same price in both the UK and US

ESR Metal Kickstand for Note 20 Ultra

ESR Metal Kickstand Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

ESR's Metal Kickstand for the Note 20 Ultra is a great companion for the "everything phone", with a premium design and high-end protection.

The freely adjustable kickstand allows for the phone to be angled up to 60 degrees, while it can also operate in portrait or landscape modes. The camera module and screen are also protected by raised bezels.

If you're interested in turning heads, Caseology's 3D patterned case is the one for you.

Available in four distinct colours, it adds a unique textured feel that you don't usually see on phone cases. This also adds plenty of extra grip to the phone.

It's not compromising on protection though, with the TPU material protecting the phone from everyday scratches and bumps.

UAG Monarch for Note 20 Ultra

UAG Monarch Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Case

UAG's Monarch series has always been about protecting your phone from everything that life throws at it, and that's especially true with its Note 20 Ultra case.

Made from premium materials, it offers five layers of protection and duly earns its title as the "all-terrain phone case". Despite the level of protection, the Monarch still sits flush with the rear camera module, and is extremely lightweight at just 45g.

We're fans of the stealthy carbon fibre look (pictured), but there's also a stunning crimson variant if you'd prefer.

You can buy it now for £54.99/US$59.95. A version for the Ultra is available for the same price in the UK and US (currently unavailable).

Donwell Clear for Note 20

Donwell Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Clear Case

It's rare to stand out in the crowded phone case market, but a unique ring holder means Donwell's Note 20 case does just that.

Acting like a pop socket, it springs from the clear case to provide a 360-degree kickstand. It's also magnetic, meaning you can attach it to the car dashboard or similar surface without a separate mount.

The case isn't sacrificing on protection, though, with the flexible TPU build providing excellent shock absorption and scratch resistance. There are even subtle raised edges to keep the screen in tact.

You can buy it now for £9.59 from Amazon, where it's also available for the Note 20 Ultra for £9.99. It's not currently on sale in the US.
