Two big things are happening in the UK this week, and neither concern BoJo: one, it’s really, really hot; and two, Amazon’s holding its annual Prime Day shopping event. Together, they create the perfect climate for justifying the purchase of this super-cool, stylish floor fan from Russell Hobbs – we love it!
This 12in floor fan is part of Russell Hobbs’ Scandi collection and, aside from its beautiful design, this is actually a pretty decent fan – lightweight and powerful, with three speed settings and a tilt function. A 1.5m power cable leaves you fairly flexible in terms of where you plug it in and power it up, and user reviews point to it shifting plenty of air without making a lot of noise. Perfect.
It’s not the most generous Prime Day deal we’ve seen, with 16% off the regular retail price, but it’s the first time we’ve seen this particular model discounted at Amazon, and the cheapest we can find it online from a trusted retailer. That said, if Amazon does run out, it’s also in stock at Currys at the same price.
It’s worth pointing out that this deal is not technically part of the Prime Day sale, which means you don’t have to be a Prime member to snap it up – just a bit hot and bothered, with a spare £41.99 (down from £49.99) in your pocket.
