Amazon regularly discounts its own smart speakers and displays, but the one event where you’re guaranteed to get an Echo, Echo Dot or Echo Show at a great price is Amazon’s own Prime Day sale event. In fact, there are discounts on all Echo models, except the range-topping Studio.
Of course, there are big discounts on just about everything Amazon sells, but if you’re specifically after an Alexa-enabled device, now is a great time to buy.
Prime Day is on 12-13 July, so it’s actually a two-day sale, but you do need to be an Amazon Prime member in order to access these discounts. That, of course, is why it’s called Prime Day and not ‘Amazon Day’.
There are loads of benefits of being a Prime member and while you may not think it’s worth paying for Prime just to bag a few bargains in the sale, don’t forget that you get free one-day delivery, Prime Video, Amazon Music and quite a few other things included as part of the subscription. You can even get a free trial of Prime, providing you haven’t had it before.
We’ve rounded up the best Amazon Echo deals available right now, as well as on other devices which feature Alexa.
Amazon is also slashing prices on its other hardware, including its Fire tablets, Fire TV Sticks as well as its Echo range. You can also get a great Prime Day deal on the Kindle range.
We’ve also looked at all Amazon’s deals on tech, along with other retailers running competing sales, and you’ll find the top picks in our roundup of the best Prime Day deals.
