Welcome to the eye of the storm. Last week was full of launches, next week will be full of launches. This week is a (perhaps welcome) lull.
We’re taking advantage of the breather to talk about the Samsung Galaxy A53, a mid-ranger that looks on paper to be an impressive entry in the space – and to wipe the floor with the iPhone SE. But is it all it’s hyped up to be?
Then we’re turning to arguably next week’s biggest launch: Google I/O. We’ve chatted about it a bit before, but with Android 13 now out in beta form we want to re-assess what we expect to see from Google, including the latest hardware rumours around the Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch.
Speaking of: one of those rumours is that we’ll get a glimpse of the Pixel Fold. This week has seen a spate of new rumours surrounding not only that phone but also the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, a new Oppo clamshell foldable, the next Xiaomi foldable, and more. Let’s break down everything we know so far about the next generation of folding phones.
