From today, BT is offering Netflix bundled in with three different TV packages.
Prior to this, Netflix was only available as an additional subscription, but now customers can have it baked into their packages as standard, making the deals more competitive than before.
In addition, customers who sign up before 3 December can bag the first three months of a TV package at half the price. After the first three months, this will be billed at the standard cost.
To view these deals and sign up, head on over to the BT website. The BT TV packages which now include Netflix are:
- Flexible Entertainment: Includes Now Entertainment Membership and Netflix Basic for £16 per month (now discounted to £8 per month for three months)
- Big Entertainment: Includes Now Cinema Membership, Now Entertainment Membership and Netflix Basic for £26 per month (now discounted to £13 per month for three months)
- VIP TV – Includes Now Cinema Membership, Now Entertainment Membership, Now Sports Membership, four BT Sports channels and Netflix Standard for £73 per month (now discounted to £35.50 per month for three months)
Now is the official streaming service for Sky. Through the Now Entertainment Membership, you can get originals from the likes of Sky Atlantic and Sky Max. The Now Cinema Membership gives users access to movies from across 11 different Sky Cinema Channels, and the Now Sports Membership includes content from 11 different Sky Sports Channels.
For more streaming options, customers can also add extra entertainment subscriptions such as Amazon Prime Video and BritBox.
If customers change their minds about what they want in their package, they can alter it every month. For example, if they want 4K content, then they can switch to the Netflix Premium plan, which is £13.99 per month.
You can see what each package entails by checking out our guide to all the Netflix plans.
The benefit of signing up for Netflix via BT is that the TV bills are all in one place, meaning there’s no need to keep track of multiple monthly streaming subscriptions from different companies.
Signing up for a BT package also gives customers access to 96 Freeview channels, the ability to record up to 600 hours of content and the option to pause and rewind live TV.
Netflix can be added to other TV packages such as Sky and Virgin as well.
With Netflix, you can watch staples such as Squid Game, The Witcher and Stranger Things. There are also brand-new shows such as Cowboy Bebop, which drops next week.
