If the upcoming release of Halo Infinite wasn’t exciting enough, Microsoft has also revealed a Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X and an Xbox Elite controller too. Sporting a green and gold chassis with scuff marks and 117 branding, the controller is modelled after the Master Chief himself, with all the bells and whistles of Microsoft’s Elite 2 Controller to boot. That includes swappable thumbsticks, paddle-shaped levers on the rear, dual Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth technology and much more.
The question is, where can you pre-order the gorgeous new Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Elite 2 controller in the UK and US, and how much will it cost? We answer that, and more, right here.
When will the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller be released?
While Halo Infinite isn’t out until early December, the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller is set to be released in the UK and US weeks earlier on 15 November 2021.
How much does the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller cost?
With all the features of the Xbox Elite 2 controller in a gorgeous Halo Infinite-themed shell, expect the controller to be pricey.
In fact, the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller will cost you £179.99 in the UK and $199.99 in the US, representing a £25/$20 increase compared to the standard Xbox Elite 2 controller – but let’s be honest, it’s worth the extra cash right? I mean, just look at it.
Where can I pre-order the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller?
The good news is that, despite the controller not being released until mid-November, you can pre-order the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller ahead of time in the UK and US.
The problem is that the controller seems to be in higher demand than Microsoft anticipated, with the controller currently out of stock in Microsoft’s own store in both the UK and US. That may sound disheartening, but Microsoft will likely release new pre-order slots from time to time so it’s worth checking frequently.
Of course, the Microsoft Store is only one of many retailers expected to stock the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite controller. There aren’t any offering pre-orders right now, but we’ll update the list below as more retailers announce plans so be sure to bookmark this page and check back frequently.
