This drops prices to the following until 15 August:
- OnePlus 9 (8GB RAM/128GB storage) – now £579, was £629
- OnePlus 9 (12GB RAM/256GB storage) – now £679, was £729
- OnePlus 9 Pro (8GB RAM/128GB storage) – now £779, was £829
- OnePlus 9 Pro (12GB RAM/256GB storage) – now £879, was £929
While OnePlus has a student discount program that slashes 5% off devices and 10% off accessories for students and teachers which requires you to verify your status (via Student Beans), the current discount is available for non-students too. You’ll just need to use the code COOL50 at checkout.
Before you can add the voucher, you’ll need to create a OnePlus account, where you need to provide your email address, name, and mailing address, though you can also sign in via Google or Facebook.
Of the two phones, we’d recommend the OnePlus 9 which received 4/5 stars in our review. We were particularly impressed with its fabulous120Hz AMOLED display, powerful components, incredibly fast charging (95% in 30 minutes) and Oxygen OS. The biggest drawbacks were the lack of an IP rating and some camera issues.
