After four bumper days of announcements, E3 2021 comes to an end today. The trade show has moved online this year due to the pandemic, but it’s been a welcome return after last year’s event was cancelled.
One of the headline acts on the final day is Bandai Namco, the Japanese company behind classic titles like Pac-Man and Tekken. It’s a real force in the modern gaming industry too, counting the likes of Project Cars and Dragon Ball Z among its recent releases.
Here’s all you need to know about its presence at E3 2021.
When is Bandai Namco’s E3 2021 press conference?
Bandai Namco will be taking to the E3 stage today, 15 June. The event is expected to get underway at 2.25pm live from Los Angeles (PDT) – here’s how that translates around the world:
- 5.25pm ET (US East Coast)
- 10.25pm BST (UK)
- 11.25pm CET (Europe)
How to watch Bandai Namco at E3 2021
There are two key options when it comes to watching the Bandai Namco press conference – both are via YouTube.
The official E3 YouTube channel is livestreaming every day of the show on the platform, so that’s the obvious place to watch. However, if you’re not interested in any of the other announcements, GameSpot has a dedicated stream just for Bandai Namco. We’ve embedded it above.
What to expect from Bandai Namco at E3 2021
Bandai Namco has remained tight-lipped about its E3 plans, so we’re not entirely sure what to expect. One game likely to be on the agenda is Elden Ring, a high-profile RPG set for release on 21 January 2022.
This mythological game is a collaboration between Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director behind the popular Dark Souls series. Miyazaki has revealed lots of information ahead of the event, but expect Elden Ring to at least get a mention.
Other games that look set to be covered include new anime titles in the form of Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus. Bandai Namco already has a rich library of anime games, including Dragon Ball Z, God Eater and Jump Force.
There may also be a few surprises, so it’s worth tuning in if you’re a fan of Bandai Namco games.
The other key company making an appearance today is Nintendo, with a version of its Direct presentation especially for E3.
