Samsung unveiled the latest addition to its Galaxy family today in the Galaxy Book Go laptop. Built for “mobile-first users”, the 14in LCD laptop operates on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor and offers LTE connectivity, with prices starting from just £399/US$349.
The 14in Galaxy Book Go with Windows 10 on ARM works within the Galaxy ecosystem of phones, tablets, and wearables, allowing users the flexibility to send texts, make calls, and mirror Android apps via Link to Windows and Microsoft Your Phone. The Book Go also supports SmartThings and SmartThings Find for added smart home integration.
As for connectivity, the Galaxy Book Go offers two USB-C and one USB 2.0 port, a microSD card reader, and headphone/mic input. A 720p webcam and Dolby Atmos sound are also included.
The Galaxy Book Go will be available with 128GB eUFS internal storage with either 4GB RAM for £399 or 8GB RAM for £499.
Later this year, the US will also get a 5G version powered by the more robust Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G chip. Samsung hasn’t confirmed pricing yet or whether the UK will also see the 5G variant.
The Galaxy Book Go with LTE is available to pre-order directly from Samsung now, ahead of a 10 June release date, when it will be available from major UK retailers.
