Starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, the film tells the story of a young woman who steps in to be the dance partner for a professional after his partner is unable to continue dancing. Along the way, the pair fall in love – and of course perform *that* spectacular lift.

How to watch Dirty Dancing online for free
At the time of writing, the only place to stream Dirty Dancing in the UK is via the Amazon Prime Video channel STARZPLAY.
To access this, you will first need to be subscribed to Amazon Prime Video – you can do this on the Amazon website. You can either sign up for just an Amazon Prime Video subscription for £5.99 per month, or pay for a full Amazon Prime account for £7.99 per month. There is a 30-day free trial available for new members.

Once you have a Prime membership, you’ll need to add STARZPLAY as an extra channel to watch Dirty Dancing. This does have a seven-day free trial available – after that a subscription costs £4.99 per month.
