The OnePlus 8T is coming soon with a 6.55in AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to a new report from Android Central.
The panel will look identical to the OnePlus 8’s but bump up the refresh rate from 90Hz. This means the 8T’s display should rival the OnePlus 8 Pro.
The 8T is also said to have four rear cameras, an improvement over the three on the regular 8. The main 48Mp camera on the 8T will have a newer image sensor for improved photography, and will be joined by a 16Mp ultra-wide, 5Mp macro, and 2Mp portrait lens.
These new leaks follow days after we reported the first possible image of the OnePlus 8T, found in the new Android 11 Oxygen OS build data. The design won’t stray far from the 8 or 8 Pro, with a single front facing camera in a cut out, a Snapdragon 865+, 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, according to Android Central’s sources.
It’s also thought that the 8T, when it releases later this year, will be running Oxygen OS 11 out of the box. The report claims the phone will be announced at the end of September or the first week of October.
