While it might be a difficult pill to swallow: September has arrived. Thankfully, that means we can expect an incredible influx of back to school offers from top tech brands. Not missing a beat, Acer has now launched its back to school sale, with up to up to 15% off bundles.
Acer’s back to school sale works on a tiered discount system that reduces the price depending on the number of devices you buy. You can combine laptops or Chromebooks with accessories, which makes it a good opportunity for students looking for a full set. The sale end 16 September.
As for the tiered system, students receive 5% off purchases of two items, 10% off three items, and 15% off four or more items.
Acer makes some of the best Chromebooks on the market, with the best of them all being the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 due to its impressive performance and design. The 713 is included in the Acer sale and eligible for 15% off when bought with other devices.
Keep in mind, just because Acer has launched a sale, its prices may not be the most competitive. Acer’s asking price for the Spin 713 with a Core i5 processor is £799, which places it a full £100 above Argos’s asking price, where it’s £699 and includes a Google Home Mini for £29 (if you want one of course).
It’s worth checking whether other retailers like Currys PC World, AO and Laptops Direct have also launched discounts on Acer’s products in light of the manufacturer’s sale.
Argos for instance is also offering a bundle deal on the 14in Acer 314 Chromebook, which includes a mouse and laptop bag for £259.99 – that’s just £10 more than the standalone RRP of the laptop. You won’t be able to find this Chromebook in Acer’s sale either.
The Chromebook 314 is in our shortlist of the best Chromebooks around – it’s cheap and gets the job done.
