Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is the current multiplayer battle royale game of choice, but it has irked some in the gaming community that it’s only available on PS4 and PC without crossplay support.
A new report claims Chinese company Bilibili has secured the rights to produce an official mobile version of the game.
Eurogamer reported the tip from games analyst Daniel Ahmad:
Chinese games and entertainment company Bilibili has secured the rights to publish a mobile version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in China. The game released for PC and PS4 on August 4, 2020 and has become a viral hit. #FallGuys https://t.co/BjElzemUGr pic.twitter.com/EBgYq3pck5

Despite the news, it’s still unclear when this version would feasibly launch, and even more unclear if it would ever make it outside the Chinese market.
Given Fall Guys’ fun multiplayer aesthetic it’s a game well poised to challenge the popularity of games such as Fortnite, but to do so it’ll need to quickly find its way onto Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, as well as mobile. Bilibili securing rights to publish the game could signal the start of this.
Fall Guys in recent weeks has had to asset that there is no official mobile version of the game because of a slew of fake versions cropping up online.
