If you’re a student on the lookout for a student discount, you’ve probably been prompted to verify your student status via Unidays, or UNiDAYS, as it’s often stylized. Apple for instance won’t let you browse student deals until you verify – but what is Unidays, exactly?
Here we’re looking at all your top questions around Unidays starting with…
What is Unidays?
Founded in 2011 and based out of Nottingham, England, Unidays verifies student statuses and puts exclusive deals and discounts from a variety of leading brands all in one place. You’ll find offers on food and clothing to tech, of course, from brands like Microsoft, Apple, and Dell (see the full list below).
In the UK, the service is available to sixth form, college, and university students, but it operates across 114 countries including the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan and China.
How much does Unidays cost?
Unidays is free to join. You just need to have an academic email address to be eligible.
How do I sign up for Unidays
To be eligible for Unidays you need to be a sixth form, college or university student and have a valid school or university email address (for example, ends with ac.uk). You must also be over 16 years old.

You can create an account with your personal email address to start, but to verify your student status you’ll have to provide your institution name and your student email address. Otherwise, you can authorize via your student portal. Unidays will give you both options.
