The pandemic has led to many companies asking employees to work from home, with the adoption of software applications rising like never before.
In fact, 52% of employees will continue to work remotely despite the government’s easing of the lockdown, according to research from Uswitch.
As the use of video calling and messaging apps soar around the world, there has been a noticeable increase in the searches people make when they’re having problems with apps.
Uswitch looked at recent search data and found top searches include ‘Gmail not working’ and ‘Skype not working.’
Below is the list of the UK’s 10 most complained about apps:
- Gmail
- Skype
- Zoom
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Grammarly
- Google Hangouts
- Trello
- Slack
Gmail ranked as the most complained about app, with 2,250 searches per month. Slack was the 10th most complained about app with a score of 200.
The research also found that Zoom is the UK’s most video calling app, with 68% of consumers saying they have used it more since the lockdown started.
