A new official-looking teaser photo for the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G has leaked.
Ishan Agarwal tweeted the below image, with the guesswork afoot suggesting the smaller device on the left is the Pixel 5, while the larger phone with coloured power button is the Pixel 4a 5G.
The texture of the smaller phone looks to be metal, leading to the feeling that it’s the Pixel 5. Given the ‘5G’ teaser, that phone will surely come with 5G as standard. The larger phone is likely the plastic-rimmed 4a 5G, which in turn is larger than the regular Pixel 4a – a 4G-only phone we expect to be announced today.
Aside from the apparent confirmation that the two other Pixel phones are on the way soon, the photo gives nothing much away thanks to the side on view. The camera modules look roughly the same size, but it’s impossible to know if the Pixel 4a 5G will have one lens like the 4a is rumoured to have.
We do hope the Pixel 5 keeps at least the two cameras from the Pixel 4, the first Google phone with more than one. Google will hopefully make both the Pixel 5 and 4a 5G official soon.
