The Amazon Summer Sale is finally here, and for a limited time you can get discounts across a number of budget and mid-range phones. But you’ll have to get in quick, as the discounts only last until Sunday 12 July 2020.
The biggest bargain on the list goes to the Xiaomi Mi 10, which has slashed its price from £699 to £579, giving a saving of £120.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 is a strong mid-ranger that boasts 8GB RAM, 128GB and a 108Mp camera. It also comes with an elegant design and a 4,780mAh battery with quick-charging, meaning you can use it all day for social media and watching videos and not have to worry about it running out of juice.
At £600, it’s an ideal choice for students who are on a budget and don’t want to drop over a grand on a flagship phone. If you’re in the market for something even more affordable, Xiaomi is also offering the Redmi Note 9 Pro for £189 across all the colours. Students should also check out the Summer Sale’s discounts on HP, Acer and Asus laptops and gaming monitors – along with £27 off Microsoft 365.
The Xiaomi range isn’t the only phone manufacturer taking part in Amazon’s Summer sale. Realme is offering up to 18% off a select range, whilst Oppo is offering up to 15% off a number of phones as well.
The biggest saving on the Realme range is on the Realme 5 Pro, which comes with either 4GB or 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 48Mp camera. The 4GB version is currently going for £177.65 down from £209, whilst the 8GB version is discounted to £211.65 from an original price of £259. There’s also savings of up to £60 on the Realme 6i, Realme X3 Super Zoom and the Realme X50.
From Oppo, the Reno 2 has nearly £79 off, whilst the A9 2020 (one of the top contenders in our best budget phone chart) has £15 off.
