Netflix has added a new option to its app that lets you remove items from your Continue Watching row, meaning you can declutter all the films and shows you got bored with (via The Verge).
It’s a small change but one we think we’ll actually use to clean up Netflix’s rather busy user interface to keep the app surfacing stuff we actually want to keep watching.
Of course, you’ll have a few things in the row that you got bored with but also Netflix sometimes keeps items in the section if you didn’t watch right to the end of the credits. It isn’t clever enough to work out that you binged all ten of the latest series of Queer Eye and simply quit out without watching the final credits of episode ten, so the show lingers in Continue Now.
Pressing the three dots next to a title on iOS brings up the option in a menu, which also now shows quick access to info, download and rating options:

The feature is reportedly rolling out to Android but is not available yet on desktop – but any changes made in the app will reflect themselves wherever you access Netflix.
