Mobvoi has announced the TicWatch C2+, a new smartwatch compatible with Android and iPhone, with 1GB RAM that’s double what you’ll find in the older TicWatch C2.
For a watch running Google’s Wear OS, the company says this extra RAM will give a decent uptick in performance and better responsiveness. The C2+ costs £189.99/$209.99 and is on sale now from the Mobvoi website and Amazon in Onyx, Platinum and Rose Gold.
The smartwatch comes with both a black silicone and a leather strap in the box, the latter in the colour of the watch you pick, to cover you for when you’re at the gym or a fancy dinner. The watch itself packs in most of the features you’d expect and want for the price, including a heart rate sensor, IP68 waterproofing, GPS and NFC for payments.

It’s worth pointing out that the C2+ uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, an older processor that’s been surpassed by the superior 3100 used in watches like the Fossil Sport. It’s perhaps why Mobvoi has rehashed the C2 with more RAM – to keep the range ticking (ha) over while keeping the price under £200.
We’ll have to get the TicWatch C2+ in for review to see how it fares but generally we like TicWatch products, as they pack in all the Wear OS features of other watches with great design and a fair price.
