It’s heatwave time again! If your BBQ has packed up, or you haven’t got around to buying one yet, read on. You don’t want to be stuck inside cooking. (While you yourself are cooking.)
When you think of a barbecue, chances are you’re picturing something like a Weber grill. The first kettle barbecue was built by the company in 1951. It was a slightly different design to those we see today but very much recognisable as the Original Kettle that the company still sells.
BBQworld.co.uk has over £30 off the Original Kettle 57cm grill model, which is available for £169, down from £199.99.
This is a really dependable barbecue at a great price and you can get it delivered in 2-3 working days. It has an easy-clean porcelain-enamelled bowl and lid, an inbuilt lid thermometer, a rust-proof lid vent and a deep ash-catcher. It’s 107cm high.
Going up a price bracket, WOWBBQ.co.uk (the official Weber World Store) is selling the Weber Master Touch with a 57cm grill in smoke grey for £269, down from £329, which is 18% or £60 off. It has two char baskets, so you can easily switch from direct to indirect cooking, an integrated thermometer, a lid vent, tool hooks and an iGrill bracket (for smart grilling). What sets the Master Touch range apart from the classic kettle barbecues is a few really nice touches, including a hinged lid and a new char ring. You could get it delivered next day.
The portable Weber Q1200 with stand is also deeply discounted on WOWBBQ.co.uk, down from £423.99 to £298.99. That’s an incredible £125 off. It’s a gas grill with a cast aluminium lid and body with inbuilt carry handles.
It has electronic ignition and a stainless-steel burner. Its cast iron cooking grates are enamelled in porcelain and it has an inbuilt thermometer and two folding tables. Its dimensions are 120 x 104 x 60cm and it has a cooking area of 32 x 43cm. It should be used with a mini gas canister. Like the grill above, it’s available for next-day delivery.
Also on WOWBBQ, there’s £100 off the American-style gas grill, the Weber Genesis II E-310 three burner gas barbecue. It’s usually priced at £949, but you can get it for £849. It comes with a ten-year guarantee. It has three stainless steel burners with temperature controls and electronic ignition, cast iron cooking grates and a warming rack.
Its cooking area is 68 x 48cm. It also has a porcelain-enamelled lid with an inbuilt thermometer, side shelves, utensil hooks and wheels, so you can move it easily. It could be with you a day after ordering.
Finally, if you’re simply after a good deal on an affordable kettle-style charcoal grill, Wayfair is selling the compact 44cm Landmann charcoal grill with ash tray for £72.99, down from £83.99. It has a stainless tell tripod base, an enamelled brazier and lid and an enamelled coal tray. It’s ready to set up and use and it can be delivered in a few days’ time.
