When will Legends of Tomorrow season 6 air?
Originally, Legends of Tomorrow season 6 was scheduled to air during midseason 2021 (between January and May). However, seeing as the pandemic has caused delays across a number of shows and movies, everything has been moved back.
Now Legends of Tomorrow is currently anticipated to air in summer 2021, however this is all depending on how soon production on the show can start up safely once again.
Who will be in season 6?
Spoilers for season 5 of Legends of Tomorrow from this point onward.
TVLine reported that the following cast members will be making a return to the show:
- Caity Lotz as Sara Lance
- Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe
- Matt Ryan as John Constantine
- Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory
- Nick Zano as Nate Heywoo
- Tala Ashe as Zari Tarazi
- Shayan Sobhian as Behrad Tarazi
Maisie Richardson-Sellers, the actress who played Charlie, will not be returning as a series regular. At the end of season 5, Charlie teamed up with Team Legends to save the world from Lachesis, her sister. However, once the task was complete, she decided to stay in 1970s London with her punk band, putting her time-travelling days to an end.
Thank you for your endless love and support. Amaya and Charlie have brought me so much joy these past 4 years, and you are THE MOST kind, generous, inclusive fan base a show could hope for. Never change. I can’t wait to share the projects I’m currently creating. Love you all ❤️

TVLine reported that there will also be two new additions to the cast. One will be a mysterious new villain, and the other will be a new Legend who was abducted by aliens as a young girl and given powers – so she claims.
What will season 6 be about?
Brace yourselves, because the Legends will be venturing into outer space in season 6. After Sara was abducted by aliens in the series 5 finale (unbeknown to the rest of the gang), the team will go after her into space to rescue her. However, on the way they’ll have to face a number of ruthless threats from new intergalactic beings.
