Samsung has announced the Galaxy M31 that packs in a huge 6,000mAh battery and 64Mp quad camera set up for just £245. It’s available exclusively through Amazon UK and will ship from 1 June.
If you need a new phone and are on a budget thanks to the economic uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, the M31 could prove a canny buy. With a 6.4in AMOLED screen, 6GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage it should be no slouch either, ably powering 4K video recording and macro shots with the dedicated macro lens on the camera system.
But to us it’s the 6,000mAh battery that is most appealing about the M31. With a mid-range Exynos 9611 processor and a cell that big, the phone should easily last two days without a charge, and in some cases should easily make it into three. Plus Samsung’s One UI based on Android 10 is as good as the company’s software has ever been.
Add to that dual SIM compatibility and a choice of black, blue or red handset and this could well be your next phone if you’re looking for a good deal on a new phone.
