Starting Good Friday (10 April), Virgin will offer free access to a whole bunch of popular Sky TV channels to its TV customers, including:
- Sky Arts
- Sky Comedy
- Sky Crime
- Sky One
- Sky Two
- Sky Witness
- Sky Sports Mix
- Sky Sports News
In addition to these, Virgin customers also get access to E!, Movies 2, Syfy.
If you’re an existing Virgin TV customer, you don’t need to do anything additional to opt in, and there won’t be a change in your contract.
If you’re not with Virgin already, it’s a good time to sign up. Pick up a current discount on its 12-month Big Bundle broadband and TV offer, which reduces the rate to £29.99 per month from £38 per month. The service offers high speed downloads of 108Mbps, along with free weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobile numbers. You also get all these channels too.
This isn’t the first time Virgin has made content free to its customers. Last week it made the following kids’ channels free until 21 April:

- Boomerang
- Cartoonito
- Nickelodeon
- Nick Jr
- NickToons
- Nick Jr Too
Then earlier this week, the provider made another 18 popular entertainment channels free until 2 May for customers, including Comedy Central, Discovery, MTV and Fox. You can see the full list below:
