OnePlus appears to be close to releasing new phones, with the rumoured OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro supposedly just around the corner. These new leaks are of the cheaper OnePlus 8 and seem to confirm some bright new colours alongside the classic black slab.
The above and below images were first published by WinFuture, who confirmed the phone model and new colours. Then serial OnePlus leaker Ishan Argawal tweeted the same images and said he knew the official colour names:
#OnePlus8 Official Renders have leaked! I know what the marketing name for these colours will be: -Interstellar Glow -Glacial Green -Onyx Black Looks amazing in my opinion! What do you think? Source: @rquandt / https://t.co/sd7Pw4nGHg pic.twitter.com/FWMlSuZzii

OnePlus has had red and white phones in the past, but none as bold as the Interstellar Glow and Glacier Green seen here. In our view the former looks pretty tacky, but if accurate hopefully the real thing is better than the render.
There will apparently be an Onyx Black for the more straight laced of us.
The leaks suggest OnePlus will use a cut out camera for the first time rather than a notch or mechanical pop up, backing up the rumour that the company will finally release a phone with an official IP rating not possible with pop up – but it has also reportedly declined to pay for the IP certification in the past to keep costs down.
The renders show a phone with the new OnePlus logo in all caps, and is said to have a 90Hz refresh rate 6.55in FHD+ OLED. With the Snapdragon 865 and therefore 5G on this supposed cheaper OnePlus 8, it’ll be interesting to see the pricing. OnePlus has slowly strayed away from its killer price differential in recent years.
We expect the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro to drop in the next month or two.
