Here’s how you enter.
- Before midnight on 24th March, buy one of the selected cordless vacuum cleaners. Brands include Bosch, Dyson, Miele and Hoover. You can buy online, in shop (if you can get there) or via the call centre.
- Wait for 32 days until after the date of purchase. (Set a reminder for yourself on your phone or calendar.) From the website, it looks as though you should do this before day 42.
- Go to: curryswin250.co.uk and enter your details and the order number, which you’ll find on your receipt.
- Hopefully, get some good news.
Why do you have to wait 32 days? We honestly don’t know.
However, there are some great vacuum cleaners included in the offer. You can get a Dyson 11 Absolute, which we reviewed and rated 4.5 out of 5 stars. The V11 has an LCD screen which we described as a “genuine innovation”. This will set you back £599.
You can also get the V11 Animal. This is priced at slightly less eye-popping £499. The Animal differs from the Absolute in that it is optimised for carpets (and picking up pet hair) rather than hard flooring. What you’ll be missing is the High Torque cleaning head which allows for automatic mode, which means that the Absolute can distinguish between carpet and hard floor and will automatically adjust its cleaning power.
Another high-end option is Miele’s Triflex series. This is Miele’s competitor to the V11. We’ve only had a chance to test it at a press event but what we can say is that its specs are as strong as the V11 and it has an ingenious design that allows it to transform between a stick and a handheld while remaining comfortable to use. It also has LED nozzle lights so you can see what you’re vacuuming.
The standard model costs £479, the Cat & Dog model £569 and the Pro (which comes with a spare battery) £579.
There are a number of other options, so go and have a browse. The Hoover cleaners are the most budget-friendly options, with the H-FREE 200 Home HF222RH cleaner priced at £129. The H-FREE can be used as a stick or a handheld. Currys PC world has discounted this cleaner by £20 and offers a price match if you can find it cheaper anywhere else.
We just spotted it for £114.99 on Amazon for a limited time, so if you let Currys PC World know about that deal while it’s still on, you can get it for the lower price and still enter the draw.
