The tool, pictured above, is a jointed attachment that you clip on between the dustbin and the vacuuming arm. It means that when you’re vacuuming under sofas and the like, there’ll be much less stooping.
Samsung’s Powerstick Jet, along with Miele’s Triflex, has recently muscled into the V11’s space as the king of cordless vacs. The Jet, which I recently reviewed and really rated (and which is now on sale with a 10% discount), comes with a similar, jointed attachment. In fact, one of the reasons I preferred the Jet was the fact that it comes with a range of impressive accessories. So it’s interesting that Dyson has now upped its game on the add-ons front.
Dyson vacuum cleaners with the new reach-under tool are available to buy from today (18th March) from the Dyson site and other retailers. Not everyone has caught up yet though, so if you want the new attachment and you’re not buying from Dyson directly, have a proper look at your accessories before you purchase.
Dyson has also dropped the price of the V7 Animal from £299.99 to £249.99. (Other sites, including Amazon and John Lewis, are still selling it for £299.99.)
It’s been a busy period for new Dyson products, with the release of the company’s new robot vacuum cleaner the 360 Heurist, its hair straightener, the Corrale, and the Lightcycle Morph.
