The latest series of Dancing on Ice is now skating towards the grand finale – we have everything you need to know on the contestants, format and how to watch the show if you’re based outside of the UK.

When is the finale of Dancing on Ice?
The finale will take place this Sunday, 8 March, starting at 6pm. The remaining three couples – Libby & Mark, Perri & Vanessa and Joe & Alex – will all take to the ice across two hours. All three will perform a showcase that is choreographed by Torvill and Dean, and then one couple will be knocked out of the competition.
The last two pairs standing will perform their own take on the classic ‘Boléro’ routine, as it has been in previous seasons. After that, the winner shall be crowned.
It’s been quite a dramatic series so far, with model Caprice Bourret splitting from her professional partner Hamish Gaman after two weeks, and then withdrawing from the show altogether during week four.
Series twelve also saw the very first same-sex pairing on the show with Ian Watkins – also known as ‘H’ from Steps, who skated with former champion Matt Evers. This was a huge progressive change for talent programmes, and rival shows are now under pressure to include something similar.
Who are the presenters, judges and contestants?
The ITV duo Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are back to host. On the judging panel we have Jane Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo all returning – but there was one major switch-up. Veteran judge Jason Gardiner decided not to return for the series, and he was instead replaced by former contestant and performer, John Barrowman.

How can I watch Dancing on Ice?
You can catch the main show of Dancing On Ice on Sunday evenings on ITV 1 from 6pm until 8pm if you’re based in the UK. If you missed a show, you can catch up on full episodes and highlights on the ITV Hub.
