It’s now much easier to watch BT Sport. BT has launched a £25 monthly pass for its popular service that means for the first time you don’t need to be a BT customer with a BT contract to watch.
BT Sport exclusively shows the Champions League and Europa League and has rights to several Premier League football matches, though far fewer than Sky in the UK. It also shows European football, the FA Cup, rugby, boxing and more plus will host WWE from January 2020.
Available now, the monthly pass gets you access to every BT Sport channel including BT Sport Ultimate, allowing you to stream in 4K UHD.
“BT Sport Monthly Pass means that customers can sign up on a flexible monthly basis for the first time and make the most of all the fantastic live sport that we have to offer. And with BT Sport Ultimate included, we’re giving customers the very best possible viewing experience. Monthly Pass forms part of BT’s ambition to offer BT Sport customers’ unrivalled choice and the highest quality broadcasts on even more devices and platforms,” said Pete Oliver, managing director, marketing for BT’s consumer division.
You can currently purchase day, week or month passes to Sky Sports via Now TV and have been able to do so for some time, so it’s good to see BT Sport giving people the option to use its services without being tied into a BT Broadband or phone contract.
You can stream BT Sport using your monthly pass on Android, iOS, the BT Sport website, PS4, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Xbox One and via Google Chromecast to your TV.
