Google is introducing a new feature to Gmail that lets you attach or forward other emails as attachments. The company thinks it’ll help people who want to pass on entire email chains but don’t want the untidiness of forwarding an email thread.
Announced on its G Suite blog, the feature is rolling out now and requires no action for admins. You can check if you have the feature yet by seeing if ‘Forward as an attachment’ is in the three-dot More menu (see above image).
You can also click and drag multiple threads into new email messages as you would any other file to attach (see below GIF).
The feature will be turned on by default for all Gmail users and is rolling out from 9 December worldwide.
