Whether you already have an Amazon Echo or were waiting for a great deal before dipping your toes into Alexa’s water – if you’ll forgive the expression – now is the perfect time to start or add to your collection.

Currently Amazon has slashed the price of the smart speaker to just £22, but if you add two to your basket and go through to checkout and type ECHODOT2PACK in the box for gift vouchers and promotional codes, you will see that £4.01 is knocked off the total, bringing the price down to £20.
Given that the Echo Dot 3 usually costs £49.99, that is a fantastic deal. You’re getting two for less than the price of one.
If you don’t want two Echo Dots, either find a friend who does and split the deal with them, or maybe you’d prefer the offer available at Currys.
The price is the same as Amazon’s – £22 for an Echo Dot 3 – but you also get six months of Spotify Premium thrown in. Arguably that’s a better deal since the subscription to the music streaming service usually costs £9.99 per month, which is a saving of almost £60 (plus the £28 saving over the Dot 3’s normal price).
In fact, Currys is also matching Amazon’s twin-pack deal, so if you add two to your basked and enter the voucher code DOT2 at the checkout, you’ll get them for £40 instead of £44, and you still get six months of free Spotify.
It looks good, sounds good and Alexa can do everything she can do on even Amazon’s most expensive model, the Echo Studio.
That means that if you don’t require hi-fi quality audio and are happy with just good quality sound, the Echo Dot will suit you fine.
