Black Friday may be over, but the deals haven’t stop – not with Cyber Monday nearly here. Amazon has had blowout offers since 22 November when it launched its Black Friday sale, and now it’s hacking a portly 50% off its Prime membership.
The discount is on the first three months if you’re a new customer, though existing customers can also benefit from the discount.
Typically, Amazon Prime costs £7.99 per month which sums up to £23.97 over three months, but now you can pick up 3 months for just £11.99. Keep in mind the discount is a promotional offer on the annual plan and will renew at £79 per year, which is the usual rate (and works out cheaper than paying £7.99 monthly).
Existing customers on a pay-monthly plan can switch over to the annual payment plan and still get the 3-month 50% discount – you would be refunded the membership fee for your current monthly membership.
One of the main benefits of Prime is free next day delivery, which is ideal if you’re trying to get your Christmas shopping out of the way. See our full guide to Amazon Prime, which goes into everything from what it is, all its perks and pricing.
Of course if your’e all about the streaming, Amazon Prime gets you Prime Video too, which is home to some of the best films and TV shows around.
