If you can afford it, we’d recommend getting the latest Hero 8 Black model. You’ll be getting all the features including HyperSmooth 2.0 stabilization and built-in mounting. There are also various mods you can easily attach such as lights and a flip-up screen. Then there’s also the new GoPro Max.
Still, going for the Hero 7 Black is not going to dissapoint. We gave it 9/10 in our review thanks to its excellent dual-screen design, top-performance and ability to live stream.
Cheaper models are also available such as the White option if you don’t mind having fewer features. You might also want to consider getting a spare battery so that you don’t miss out on any action when you’re on location, away from a power point.

When is Black Friday 2020 – should you wait for a better deal?
Black Friday will take place on Friday 27 November, immediately followed by Cyber Monday on 30 November.
