Carphone Warehouse has accidentally put its Pixel 4 XL purchase page live a day early (via
Android Police). The page doesn’t load completely but displays Google’s official advertising graphic, including a spec sheet comparison with the Pixel 3a series:
It confirms the Pixel 4 and 4 XL will have 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage. We’re pretty sure we knew everything else.
If you follow
this URL the page might still be live. If you’re reading this after launch, you’ll be able to buy the phone. We will be rounding up the
best Pixel 4 deals in our round up.
As if this phone was still a secret. The listing page does not show the price (
thought to be around $999) but showcases the improved Night Sight mode:
Carphone’s ‘What we think’ section reads, “The Pixel 4 XL’s wide angle and telephoto lenses help you nail that photo opportunity first time. Google Assistant helps you find the answers you’re looking for, and the custom-made Titan M chip keeps your most sensitive data secure.”
It also shows how Pixel 4 will let you adjust the exposure balance of different parts of a photo before you’ve taken it, as well as the new Motion Sense feature that hopefully is better than the air gestures on the LG G8:
