To celebrate this year’s A Level results, Currys PC World is offering students a chance to buy a Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 for just 1% of its usual price of £879.
In order to be in with a shot of being chosen to buy one of the 10 laptops, you’ll need to scan your A level certificate and submit it via this link.
And you must do it before 22 August at 11.59pm. You can read the other Ts & Cs here.
10 winners will be chosen and codes sent to them. These can be taken into a Currys PC World store and will allow them to buy a Surface Laptop 2 for only £8.79.
And for those students heading off to university who aren’t as lucky as those 10, Currys PC is offering 10 percent off both the Surface Laptop 2 and Surface Book 2, starting 14 August.
This version of the Surface Laptop 2 has a Core i5 processor and 128GB of storage. It lets you work for up to 14.5 hours between charges, so more than enough even for the longest of working days. You can read our review of the laptop.
It’s ultra-slim and weighs 1.25kg, so you’ll barely feel it in your bag.
According to Currys PC World’s recent poll of 1,000 students at university, they spend 12 hours per week working on their laptops and type almost 100,000 words each year. When not working, 73 percent said they use their laptops for watching YouTube.
