In the grand scheme of things, Queen’s Club isn’t one of the year’s biggest tennis events. But as one of the few grass court tournaments and the de facto Wimbledon warm-up for most players, it gets more attention than most of the equivalent tournaments in the ATP calendar.
This year it’s even bigger than usual, boasting the return to competitive play of Andy Murray following hip surgery – albeit only in the doubles tournament, rather than his traditional singles field. The tournament is already underway this year, so here’s how to follow along live.
Watch on the BBC
If you’re in the UK, the easiest thing for most will simply be to follow the tennis on the BBC. The tournament will be shown live on BBC Two every day, with play starting around 1pm BST. That means it’ll be free for anyone in the UK to watch on TV, or through the BBC iPlayer website or app.
If you’re outside the UK it’s a little trickier, but you can still watch along on iPlayer. You’ll just need to use a VPN to connect to iPlayer and make it think that you’re based in the UK. We usually recommend NordVPN, but we have a specific guide to the best VPNs for iPlayer if you want to check out some other options.
Watch on Amazon Prime
Especially if you’re outside the UK, it might be easier to watch on Amazon Prime. Amazon secured the broadcast rights to the whole ATP tour, which includes the Queen’s Club Championship. That means that if you have a Prime subscription you can watch the tournament from just about anywhere in the world without worrying about a VPN.
If you’re not a Prime subscriber yet, don’t worry – Amazon offers a 30-day free trial of Prime – long enough to watch all of Queen’s Club and then some without paying a penny.
