If you pride yourself on being a TV buff, you can prove your dedication once and for all with Now TV’s latest competition. The Now TV Box Set Sabbatical contest promises the winner a year’s salary of £35,000 and a year’s subscription to its various streaming packages.
In other words, the winner can take a year off to watch TV.
To enter, you will need to post a photo or video to social media that convinces judges why you deserve the time off to watch TV. Entries will be judged on “creativity, passion and experience” in television watching. The competition closes 14 February, 2019.
You will need to post your plea on either Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and tag @NowTV and add the hashtag #BoxSetSabbatical. Your social media profile must be public and the post must be visible until 1 March.
You can also enter by emailing your video or photo to dl-nowtvbss@sky.uk. You will need to be 18 or older to participate.
The £35K will be paid over 12 monthly installments, much like a salary, with the first payment starting 15 March, 2019. With the prize money, the winner also gets a year’s subscription to the Now TV Entertainment Pass, Sky Cinema Pass, Hayu Pass (for reality TV), Sky Sports Month Pass, Now TV Kids Month Pass and a Now TV Smart Stick.
Now TV currently has offers on its services too, with up to 50% off a 6-month Entertainment and Sky Cinema Pass which is now £50.94. You can see all Now TV offers here and sign up for a 14-day free trial.
