Get Honor 9 Lite for £48 with £100 Amazon voucher from EE’s SIM deal

If you’re looking to change your phone contract this year, check out EE’s January Sale.

There you can find a SIM-only deal that gets you 60GB of data with unlimited minutes and text for £27, reduced from £30 per month. More impressively though, this deal also gets you a £100 discount from Amazon, which can help you bag an even greater discount on a new SIM-free phone if you’re looking to upgrade.

Head over to EE to get this deal before it ends on 29 January. The SIM plan is for a 12-month period.

The £100 gift card helps you save on top of Amazon’s existing discounts on popular SIM-free phones. The Honor 9 Lite, which comes recommended by our editors and is featured in our round up of the best budget phones, is  currently £148 on Amazon – which means once the voucher is applied, you can pick up the phone for £48.

(Alternatively, get the Galaxy S9 for roughly £492, which already has £146 off on Amazon. Or, pick up the Galaxy S8 for £292, which already has a £217 discount. Amazon has also started selling iPhone devices, so you could also pick up the iPhone XS for £899 instead the usual £999.)

Keep in mind the gift card must be claimed within 28 days of buying the SIM plan, and the voucher code will be emailed to you after 14 days. The price on the phone can fluctuate in that period, but the Honor 9 Lite has generally plateaued at £148 in the past month. In fact, it went low as £119 in November, so you may potentially pay less if the price does change.
