Tennis fans rejoice. Amazon Prime members can now subscribe to the Eurosport Player channel, via Amazon Channels, for only 1p per month to catch the Australian Open. This offer serves a nearly 100% discount on the usual £6.99 fee. It ends 27 January, so head over to Amazon to sign up now.
Those who sign up can watch the qualifying games (which run until 13 January), uninterrupted live coverage of the tournament (14th to 27 January) as well as replays, highlights and catch-up matches. After 6 months, the subscription price returns to £6.99 per month.
If you’re unfamiliar, Amazon Channels allow you to add streaming channels on top of your existing Prime subscription for a small monthly fee. This lets you avoid paying for bundled channels you don’t need.
Here’s everything you need to know about Amazon Channels including how to get free trials, available channels and whether it includes Netflix.
Keep in mind, you will need Amazon Prime to get this offer. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial, and in effect only pay 1p for access to Eurosport this month.
Apart from the Australian Open, the offer also gets you access to the French Open (26 May to 9 June) and the Wimbledon Finals (1st to 14 July). This comes on top of the coverage of the US Open, which is included with Prime Video at no extra cost.
