Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+. The new mid-range duo sport Infinity Displays with SuperAMOLED panels, a premium design and, at least on the Plus model, a dual-camera.
When is the Samsung Galaxy A6 coming out?
The exact release date has not yet been confirmed, but we should see stock of the A6 in the next three weeks and the A6+ in four weeks, so expect an end of May on sale date. Samsung says they will go on sale in Europe, Asian and Latin America first, then later South Korea, Africa and China.
How much will the Samsung Galaxy A6 cost?
EU pricing has been confirmed for the A6 and A6+ at €309 and €369 (roughly £270 and £325) respectively. Both will be available in Purple, Gold, Blue and Black.

As you’ll see in the specs table above, key differences between the Galaxy A6 and A6+ are found in the display size (5.6in vs 6in), core hardware and battery capacity. The Plus model also boasts a dual-camera at the rear, and a higher-resolution selfie camera, though both are pretty impressive and have their own LED flashes.
Both models are fitted with the same Infinity Display we see at the top end of the Samsung Galaxy range, and come with Bixby AI built-in, but rather than all-glass designs these mid-range smartphones have a metal rear. They also lack some premium features of the flagships, such as the waterproofing, wireless charging and heart-rate scanners, though you will find a fingerprint scanner on the back in the new Note 8 position under the camera.
